Science publishing platforms : ウィキペディア英語版 | Science publishing platforms
Many traditional scientific journals operate on a system where authors submit their articles for publication, the articles are reviewed by an editor and potentially sent out for review by a group of peer scientists, then either accepted for publication (either with or without revisions) or rejected (and either encouraged to resubmit, or not). In contrast to the most familiar list of scientific journals, several new publication platforms have been developed with alternative models. These models are not always apparent to scientists wishing to submit their work, with some including integration into traditional measurements of publication "success", such as PubMed, and others that are not yet included there. Also, some of these are considered preprint servers, that may or may not be the final step in publication. Note that some traditional academic journals will not accept articles for consideration if they have been submitted to preprint servers (see full list here List of academic journals by preprint policy). Here are some of the new publishing platforms with information about discipline, submission of preprint prior to publication, allowable submission of other archived material, whether they undergo peer review, the format of peer review, assignment of DOI, integration in PubMed, and whether the platform allows comments. ==Publishing platforms with various preprint and peer review options==
